Partnering with you to develop your global workforce
Focusing on global talent strategies
We develop your expatriates, international businesspeople, international support staff and your organisation for successful globalisation.
30 to 40 % of international assignments fail (where failure is defined as not only returning home early but also sitting out their assignments ineffectively). The reasons for these failed assignments are numerous and complex.
Our goal is to help build global workforces and reduce failures
We work on a holistic development plan and strategy with you to determine your unique global talent pathway and goals.
Through training and development of your entire global workforce we can help you become a truly Globally Integrated Enterprise
We treat every client individually to establish the best path forward to make your projects an absolute success.
Expatriate Preparation's clients are companies which are held in high regard both in South Africa and internationally.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Kevan from the start of his operations. Kevan is one of those few consultants who ‘get’ your business and what it is that you are trying to do. People innately trust Kevan and from that base Kevan is able to add value very quickly. Kevan sets high standards and quietly ensures that these are delivered. A quality business partner.” September 12, 2010
…we certainly have used a lot from your programme and have made an effort to go below the iceberg and participate in the way of life here. It has helped somewhat knowing the country…
Your advice on how life works in Lagos was accurate and proves useful. We even venture out in our car on weekends when the driver is off duty, so that tells you we are gaining confidence!
I have been here since 3rd May and then Anne arrived on 27th after I had moved into our house and got at least a few things ready for her. The introduction you gave us was invaluable.
The Oliviers’ thoroughly enjoyed the expat course we did with you folks. We believe the timing, duration, format, content and venue were spot on. Let me also say that the course must always be a prerequisite to our companies’ expats going abroad we went through the same phases as expats that we learned on the course. What was great is that my and Bettie’s “feeling down” period was very short, probably 6 weeks. The kids took longer to settle, probably 2-3 months…
Hallo Kevan, After 7 months it is still going fine with myself and Marieta. We are both missing RSA a lot especially our children. We are looking forward to our vacation in December which we will spend in the RSA. Looking back what has happened the last 7 months without your expat preparation it would have been much harder. At this stage Marieta’s nearly speaking German fluently.
OCTOBER 13, 2003 — Dear Kevan, It is great to hear from you. Things are going very well and the whole family have settled in very well. Your inputs were most invaluable in helping us settle.
Hi Kevan "I just wanted to say a big thank you for your presentation yesterday. I have been with Unilever a long time and haven't had an interactive presentation like that before where everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and the 4 hours seemed to fly by. You were very inspirational and I truly enjoyed the session." Thank you Candice (Candice Hollinshead (née Dold) Senior Global Mobility Analyst, Employee Services – HR | Enterprise & Technology Solutions)
